Gamecocks win...again!!

Whew...yesterday was a busy day!!  We got up and headed to the Ninety Six parade.  E&E were all bundled up.  I even packed them a snack and drink.  They were fine sitting in their strollers until the first car approached us, blew his horn, and that was it for Emma.  She crying the rest of the time.  She literally was trying to climb out of her stroller for me to hold her.  She almost tipped it over.  She even gave up her crackers to get out of that stroller and if any of you know Emma...know this is a big deal.  She doesn't pass up food!  So, I held her and she cried "car" the whole rest of the parade.  It didn't help much that each group in the parade that could have made any kind of noise did it right in from of us.  The band played in front of us, the cars blew their horns right in front of us, the big 18-wheelers pulling the tractor blew their horn right in front of us, the motorcycles all revved their engines up in front of us...you get the picture.  Anyways...Evan enjoyed it.  All he talked about were the horses.  I don't think he even cared about anything else he saw in the parade.  Of course once Emma was out of her stroller he wanted out too...but he sat right with Justin on the curb and watched the parade go by.  Here is the one picture I took of them waiting for the parade to start.

Then, we headed home and ate lunch real quick.  Justin & I had tickets to the Clemson/Carolina game so we were in a hurry to get them down for naps so we could get ready to go.  The couple we were going to the game with was supposed to be at our house at 2:00.  BUT... before nap time though I had to change E&E into their Clemson & Carolina attire and take a couple pictures of them and this was the best I could get.

My mom kept E&E from 2:00-3:30, then Alison came to keep them.  We got into Columbia about 4:00, ate real quick and started walking around.  It was crazy that in 84,000 people we saw so many people from Ninety Six & Greenwood that we knew!  Justin's brother was there tailgating so we went over to their tent for a while before we headed inside.  Our seats were great seats.  They were not far at all from the bathrooms & concessions...better yet...the hot chocolate!  It was a little chilly out there last night.  I love going to Carolina games.  The stadium was packed and the fans were excited.  Here are a couple pictures I took of the night.

Even though my team won...Justin was a really good sport the whole night and the fans around us Clemson & Carolina were all courteous with their comments.  We had a great night.  So, now we are napping and fixing to get ready for the Hanging of the Greens at South Main tonight.  Hope you all had a fun busy Saturday and that you have a great work week this week!!
