Our 1st pumpkin carving...

Tonight we carved pumpkins for the first time with Emma & Evan.  I bought us a pumpkin at the grocery store when I went Monday.  I thought we could carve Mickey Mouse then I realized that we needed a Minnie Mouse too!  So, on the way home from work...Justin stopped back by BI-LO and bought another pumpkin for Minnie Mouse!  Here are a few pictures from our pumpkin carving...

Justin working on the pumpkin and Evan was close by watching!!

Emma decided to join in!

And the carving begins....                                       They didn't mind digging in at all!!

Their attention soon turned to the       Granddaddy long leg spider crawling around us!

Waiting on Daddy to light the pumpkins.  You can tell Emma isn't a fan of lighted carved pumpkins!!

This is where Emma stayed while we lit the pumpkins!!

All clean after our baths with our glow in the dark PJ's on from Aunt Katie!!

So that was a fun little adventure.  They probably won't ever remember our first pumpkin carving...but me & Daddy sure will!!  We have a busy weekend ahead.  Emma & Evan are out of school Friday...so we have another little adventure planned.  Every morning we watch Clifford on TV.  We use to watch Chugginton on the Disney Channel but they changed their programming and we had to turn to PBS for some new morning entertainment!  So from 6:30-7:00 every school morning...we watch Clifford.  At the children's museum there is a Clifford exhibit going on right now.  So, since we had wanting to take them anyway...we thought this would be a great time!  We plan to head out Friday morning to go to the museum and then spend some time shopping in Greenville! We had planned to go to the Ninety Six vs Saluda game but considering the temperature is supposed to be 31 degrees Friday night...I doubt we will be attending the football game!  Then, on Saturday we have a Sunday School party at the Burke's house.  They plan to have supper, a bon fire, and hayride...so that will be fun.  And on Sunday...we have Justin's family pumpkin carving gathering.  We won't even go into what all next week holds.  Between the Boo Bash, Paint & Pour, & Halloween...we will be super busy next week too!  Anyways...hope you all have a great night and weekend.  Be sure to check back for a museum update and pictures!!
