Well, the hubby is finally getting to watch the Clemson game from yesterday, my two sweeties are snoozing in their rooms, and our house is somewhat back in order...so it's blogging time for this momma! Well, we went to the pageant last Monday. It was totally different from what it use to be! I actually ran into a girl that was in high school with me in KMart this week and we ended up talking about the pageant. I think she actually won when we were seniors and she couldn't believe the changes either! Three of the four grades didn't even have enough people wanting to participate to even have try-outs. There were two freshman, three sophomores, three seniors, and then probably six seniors. I can't remember. The seniors had to do an on-stage interview...that made me nervous for them! They don't do a talent anymore. It was still fun to watch! We all chose who we thought would be the winners for each grade and I was right on every single one! I should be a pageant judge! JK...I wouldn't want that job for anything!! Thursday we attempted the softball game. It went about like I was expecting. Emma & Evan had no interest in sitting on the bleachers watching the game. Bennett also attended this game...so we played on the playground that majority of the time. We only made about 500 trips to the bathroom in the less than 1 hour that we were there...so that took up a good bit of our time as well. It was a fun experience but that will probably be something we hold off on doing again until next year! :) Saturday morning we headed to Warren's birthday party at Jumping Jax. Emma & Evan loved it. They played and played. Then, we rushed home after a quick trip to Chick-fil-A to hopefully get some sort of nap before heading to Easton's party. Thankfully it was at Marty & Nancy's house which is right next door. Evan slept about an hour and Emma maybe 30 minutes. Not nearly enough time...but it was alright. So, we headed over to the construction party and guess what Kasey had...a painting station. We weren't dressed for a mess but since we had on summer clothes that we probably won't be wearing anymore this year...it didn't really matter that they got filthy...other than the red paint in Emma's hair. I was a little worried that may not come out! However...it did make me think we picked the best year to have a painting party! All the kids E&E's age loved the painting.
Before I go on to the rest of our day...I am going to share one little sneak peek at E&E's party progress. I know it is almost a month before their birthday party...but yes I already have most of their party stuff done. I finished their party favors this week and I have to share a picture. They are the cutest little things!
They will look even cuter on our favors table with the sign Justin is making me!
Okay...so back to our weekend... After Easton's party we rushed home to take baths and head over to the Burke's for the Sunday school party. We played some more, ate hot dogs, made smores, and after dark went on a hay ride through the woods around their property! It was such a fun night. As soon as we got home and got baths E&E were out and slept almost 10 hours without making a peep! I had to wake them up this morning to get them ready for church. So, after church...we headed to Anderson with my family to Denver Downs. We ate lunch on the way and got to the pumpkin patch about 2:00. It was PACKED!! There were people everywhere. We saw several other 96/Greenwood families that we knew. Emma & Evan played and played some more. I even did the big slide with them and it was fun! After we got home tonight, we ate supper, got E&E bathed, and in the bed early because two days with hardly no naps don't make for very happy campers! So, that is the reason I am just a little tired. I still have probably 4 loads of laundry waiting on my bed to be folded. It may get done tonight and it may just wait until tomorrow! So, here are a few pictures from our pumpkin patch trip! I took a good many more on Alison's camera so I may share more later!

Evan throwing the football!
We also petted the animals, climbed on the hay bales, played in the corn pit, played on the tractors, and tried to make it to the pig races but they were over before we got there. Even though our weekend was super packed...we had fun times spending time with our family! E&E won't be little long,,,so we need to make the best of it while we can! Hope you all have a great week! Our weekly plans include bible study, a day off Friday to work in our yard, a football game, another birthday party, two family gatherings...and I'm sure a little hunting! :)
